A Guide to Mapping your Lead Service Lines
Spatial IQ for MapGeo Webinar – December 7th, 2023, 1:00 PM EST
The EPA’s 2021 Federal Lead & Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) deadline for a lead line inventory is rapidly approaching. Under these rules, all municipal water systems need to submit a publicly available Lead Line Service Inventory of the system’s water infrastructure by October 16th, 2024.
In this webinar, we will walk you through the steps and best practices for creating a lead line inventory and help get your team ready to tackle the requirements of the LCRR by leveraging geospatial solutions. The good news is that if you start now, before the end of the year, we can help you meet the October 2024 inventory deadline. Our process combines generating the data you need with visualization tools to help manage your lead line replacement program in addition to easily updating and maintaining your system for the future.
In this webinar we will discuss:
- Our recommendations for data collection and mapping to meet the October 2024 deadline
- Data management and visualization tools you can readily use
- Maintaining your GIS Lead Line Inventory
- Using the data for lead line replacement project tracking and management
