Sanborn’s highly trained facility conversion experts have extensive experience using as-built drawings or existing system maps to develop comprehensive inventories of facility assets such as water, sewer, and storm utilities. Many of our projects are supported by our geodetic surveying crews, which deploy pen-based GPS technology to collect accurate X, Y, Z positions of aboveground utility features. The combination of field inventory and conversion from various source maps produces a GIS that serves numerous applications effectively.
Sanborn’s parcel mapping services include scanning, “best-fit” digitizing, COGO data entry, GIS and CAMA integration, database design, parcel maintenance, and on-site training. Our digital tax parcel maps allow quick access to parcel data and property information, and facilitate intelligent growth planning.
