RS Analyst
Sanborn is in search of a talented GIS professional. In this role, you will derive information products using image processing methods and tools using remotely sensed data (satellite imagery, aerial photography, LiDAR) and geographic information systems. You will assist in managing smaller projects and guide junior analysts and technicians, as well as develop new products and processes for imagery products.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in imagery classification and analysis using commercial software such as ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, eCognition, and Feature Analyst extension for ESRI. Knowledge of LiDAR and LiDAR processing software a plus as well as experience with multispectral and hyperspectral imagery.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, along with at least three years of experience.
